Good evening fellow road crossers! Some ideas for making the home page neater and more eye-catching would be appreciated. Any ideas?

Also, ideas for customized badges would also be helpful.

We maybe add a flag icon near the name of the update like minecraft wiki done. For example :

Australian flag, Australian update : Koala,Kangarro, etc

Chinese flag, Chinese New Year update : Xi,etc

No flag, Micro Update : bla, bla, bla

UK flag and IRE flag, UK and Ireland update : bla, bla,

South Korean flag, Korean update : seul chick

Hi, I am an editor on this wiki. And I've realized that some of the moderators have gone inactive during the past few months. I'm sorry, if my post will offend anyone, but I want everyone to look at this: Contributions

Our moderator, Axiy has not been active for more than two months. I find this amount of activity, being a moderator, is extremely unacceptable. We need our moderators and admins to be active. Being off of the wiki for two months, especially when this wiki needs more of a helping hand, is rather inadequate to the moderator rights they have been given.

I need everyone's opinions on this, and I'm greatly sorry if this is offending anyone, but I find that something needs to be said about this.

So, I was playing when I got off and had to download crossy road again. When I got back on, I had nothing!!!! HELP!

Greetings fellow Crossy Roaders, I hope you are all having a wonderful day/night.

As none of you may know, I have recently gotten administrative rights on the Five Nights at Freddy's wiki. Sadly, that wiki is much larger than this one, and will require much more of my time. I am afraid I cannot keep up with that wiki if I am also patrolling this wiki. It isn't anyone's fault. I will still be a part of the community, you may see me lurking in the comments or forum posts. At four o'clock EST (eastern standard time) I will demote myself to a regular user. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

As you all probably know, badges have been around for a while now on this wiki. Most other wikis with badges have customized their badges, so I am here to ask if you, the community, want custom badges. Instead of "Welcome to the Wiki" which is the first badge you earn it could be "Opening the App" or "Starting a Run" with a picture of the Chicken instead of an apple.

I didn't highlight this because I know some people can't be bothered to vote on badges.

Now that our community is starting to grow, we need some rules in place to be able to refer back to and help enforce good behavior. CustomEpicness started to draft some rules. I have pasted them below of your convenience:

Rules & Regulations General

• To comply with the United States's Children Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Wikia’s regulations, You must be at least 13 years old. If you say you are under 13 or heard about it on another wiki, you will be blocked until your 13th birthday. Please take note that this is not our rule, but we are still obliged to follow it.

• Bullying, discrimination and harassment towards anyone on the wiki strictly forbidden. This includes calling someone's opinions "stupid", harassing people continuously after being asked to stop, or directing any words that could be taken negatively at someone.

No offensive or inappropriate content (eg. harassment, racism, sexism, or any types of bigotry)

• Never reveal any personal details about yourself or personal details of anyone else you are associated with, especially your/someone else’s address, phone number, password, or credit card number. We never ask for these, and we do not want you telling us these. These are for your own personal safety.

• Piracy, including linking, uploading, or suggest versions of Crossy Road or other games to people, is illegal and thus forbidden. It will result in a block from this wiki and, most likely, a global block.

• Most cussing or profanity is banned (see below). Asterixis (*) are allowed as censoring, but are still highly unrecommended.
  • Some forms of swear words are not swear words globally, so are allowed in these instances, as long as you do not use them purposely to agitate or offend a user who it is directed at. If you use worldwide swearing, you get a block without a warning.

• Vandalism and spamming is prohibited, which includes minor edits for “badge farming”. It is advised to keep to no more than two to three edits on a page at a time.

• Advertising is not permitted.

• Backseat moderating and mini-modding is prohibited. That means you must not tell someone to stop doing something that breaks the rules. If an incident as such occurs, report them to administrators, bureaucrats, chat moderators (if on chat), or if applicable and/or as a last resort, VSTF members and Wikia Staff.

• All opinions should be openly respected, unless they are cruel, harmful and/or nasty.

• Any attempt to evade a ban, including creating new accounts, will result in a blocked IP for an extended duration, on top of the existing ban.

• Other inappropriate acts that are not listed here are not exempt from punishment.

Article Creation and Management

• Generally, speculation and theory in articles should be avoided. In a few instances it may be allowed, but will be removed if it is invaluable.
  • However, speculation and theory is permitted in user blogs.
• As courtesy, please try to take care when creating or editing articles to avoid grammatical errors, organisation issues etc.
  • However, as this is more an issue of common courtesy rather than a rule, a user is highly unlikely to be punished for this
  • Similarly, a page should be marked with the "PageIssues" template if examples of this are found
• Any serious misuse of templates or misuse on a large scale should be reported to an admin
  • If it is the odd occasion or is only a very minor issue concerning templates, there is little need to report it.

• No more than 3 personal images (i.e. images that aren't to do with Crossy Road) per profile page, so it doesn't clutter up the wiki with images that aren't to do with Crossy Road.
• Roleplay is only permitted in the dedicated section on the forums. Don't start a roleplay in another section of the forums, on user blogs etc. as they will be moved or closed.

Please note that this draft may change over time and that these are not actual rules yet, but rather ideas on rules.

As you can see, this draft has gotten the basis of what some rules should look like, but it is still missing a couple parts. Since these rules are being made for you, the community, it is only fair that you, yes you, should be able to pitch in and add ideas. Please note that ban times have already sorta been set here.

Images are a great way to visually show something, whether it be an example or proving a point. We here on the Crossy Road wiki encourage users to put in their screenshots when applicable.

However, there have been a couple incidents where users are replacing images with other images. When you upload an image to the wiki, the default name is Image.png/jpg. Wiki gives you a chance to rename it. Some users (notice "users". This has happened before with a couple different people) are not renaming their images, and some previous "Image.png/jpg"s are replaced with the new image. Before you know it, we have pictures of the Lady and Gentlemen on the Drop Bear page and a picture of a Drop Bear on the Glitch page where a pig getting hit by a car once stood. When you don't rename the image and overwrite previous images, it screws up any article with a "Image" name. So please, when uploading an image, please give it a name that is unique and will not override other images on other articles. It will take a meager five extra seconds.

A new page was created about lollipops, and quite frankly, it sucks. We need the help of all off you with the Android robot to help out expand the article. I would do it myself, but I use an iPad to play Crossy Road. We really need all you Android users to help out!

Everyone who has played Crossy Road knows that the Eagle is what keeps you moving forward. We can all agree that the eagle is a pretty important game mechanic/obstacle.

Across the wiki, the Eagle is mentioned multiple times. However, sometimes eagle is capitalized and sometimes it isn't. Consistency is key, and we need to decide whether or not to capitalize it.

Please vote for whether or not eagle should be capitalized, so we can have a consistent wiki. (I switched between capitalizing Eagle and not throughout this post to not sway anyone's decision. The decision should be all yours.)
