Crossy Road Arcade (not to be confused with Apple Arcade Update 2020 or Crossy Road Castle) is a ticket redemption game created by Adrenaline Amusements and Hipster Whale in late 2016. There have been 2 different versions created so far, one in 2016 and the other in 2017.
Crossy Road Arcade (2016)[]
This was the original coming out in 2016. It was released as a Dave and Busters exclusive across North America and after a few months, the game was purchasable from sites like betson.com. It was so popular that it spawned a sequel a year later.
Disney Crossy Road Arcade (2017)[]
Following a year after the release of the original Crossy Road Arcade machine, Disney wanted to have their own version of the machine, so in 2017, Hipster Whale and Adrenaline Amusements made the machine. It's basically the original machine, but with Disney theming and theming. It can also be purchased at betson.com. Some of these machines have a large Mickey Mouse pixel head surrounded by the game's ticket icon (usually found in arcades like Dave & Busters).
Trivia[]
- Disney Crossy Road Arcade is the ONLY currently available way to play Disney Crossy Road (unless you had DCR before it was deleted).
