The Grablin is a playable mascot in Crossy Road.

Appearance

The Grablin has red skin, a tail, and purple hair with white horns. It wears an olive garment torn in places, and carries a yellow bone. Its mouth is open, showing its white teeth.

Playthrough

It can be found in the "Friends of Crossy" section of characters. Rather than the usual grasslands, Grablin's setting is similar to the Halloween themed grasslands but without the pumpkins. At the top center of your screen, other Crossy Road characters appear on a grass block with their name and a level number next to them. As you move Grablin, the characters on the block have their HP meter drain until they get squashed and replaced with another character. The levels can vary.

The Grablin can be used to unlock Purple Bloop. If you defeat a Level 35 or higher character, you unlock the mascot.

Development

A common misconception is that the higher the level, the more jumps it takes to squash that character. Instead, the damage required to kill each mob is set independently of what level it is, and instead works off the formula hp=x+3, where x is the number of mobs already killed and hp is the health of the mob, e.g. the second monster will always have 4 hp.

In the game Clicker Heroes, it grabs things (hence the name Grablin).

How to Obtain

Grablin can be unlocked from the Prize Machine with 100 Coins or can be bought for $0.99.
