The Grave Digger is a playable mascot in Crossy Road and is currently located with the Spooky mascots.
Appearance[]
The Grave Digger appears to be a man with a maroon shirt with darker, barely visible stripes, black hair, blue pants, a beanie, and a lantern in his hand. Typically, he carries a brown shovel, used for grave digging.
Characteristics[]
As a Mascot[]
When playing as the Grave Digger, the grasslands terrain is dimmed to a dark blue color, signifying night. The Grave Digger carries a luminous lantern so that the player can get a better view of the landscape and obstacles. However, the view is nowhere near as clear as it is during the day, causing game play to be harder. All boulders are replaced with gravestones. Throughout game play the player rarely encounters a ghost that makes a chilling noise for a few seconds before it disappears again, making it a non-interactive enemy. The Grave Digger can walk through the Ghost without harm or obstruction.
As an Obstacle[]
The Gravedigger makes an appearance when playing as the Ghost. It is possible to encounter the Gravedigger as an obstacle. When the player approaches the Gravedigger, he will begin to tremble, as if frightened. The lantern is still luminous.

The Grave Digger can be purchased for $0.99, or won at the Prize Machine for 100 coins.

Trivia[]
- The Grave Digger can be seen while playing as the Ghost. Approaching the Grave Digger will cause them to shiver, as if the Grave Digger is scared. When pausing the game while standing near the Grave Digger, he will still be shivering even though everything else has stopped moving.
- When the Grave Digger delays too long or retreats too far, the Eagle sound is heard, but does not appear. The mascot appears to be snatched away by an unseen force.
- Although located with the Spooky mascots, gameplay for the Grave Digger does not occur in the Halloween terrain.
