Characteristics[]
The Halfling hops by moving it's legs (along with it's cane), similarly to Gifty.
How to Obtain[]
Spoiler Alert! |
Halfling cannot be unlocked by the Prize Machine because it is a secret mascot.
To unlock the Halfling, the player must be playing as any New Zealand character. There is a rare chance that, while playing, the player may encounter a small gold ring spinning just above the ground. The player can hop into the ring to collect it. Collecting enough over cumulative runs will unlock the Halfling for the player to use. As of current information, 8 rings have to be collected to unlock this mascot.

Trivia[]
- The rings needed to obtain this character may be a reference to the Lord of the Rings series, or more specifically, the movie The Hobbit, where the titular character was a hobbit.
- This may also be a reference to how most of the filming of The Hobbit was done in New Zealand.
- A "halfling" is another name for a "hobbit"; the term "halfling" is used in the fantasy games Dungeons & Dragons and Munchkin to avoid legal dispute against Lord of the Rings. A halfling and a hobbit are very similar in all other respects, however.
