The Mad Wizard is a playable mascot in Crossy Road.
Appearance[]
The Mad Wizard has tan skin with dull, purple robes and a purple wizard hat. He has a white beard and a brown staff that can burn trees.
Characteristics[]
Similar to most of the standard mascots, the grasslands serve as the terrain for the Mad Wizard. Trees and boulders appear as obstacles and the only enemy being the Eagle, who will pick the player up if they idle for too long. The Mad Wizard occasionally zaps trees with his staff, charring them. Upon gameplay, a white cube will be seen spinning on the staff.

You can unlock the Mad Wizard with the Prize Machine for 100 Coins or by purchasing it for $0.99/£0.58.
Trivia[]
- The Mad Wizard is one of three mascots that has a special feature during gameplay not shown in the character preview.
- The Mad Wizard's design resembles that of Gandalf the Grey's from the Middle-Earth universe.
- In future plans revealed in an interview for GameSpot, it is planned for the Mad Wizard and The Dark Lord to be "narratively mortal enemies," which would be revealed once both characters are unlocked.[1]
