The Piggy Bank
The Piggy Bank is a playable mascot in Crossy Road. Despite not being available from the Prize Machine, it is not a Secret Mascot. The Piggy Bank is one of the few characters that players can not get for free.
Appearance[]
The Piggy Bank looks similar to the Big Fat Pig, but has a few differences. For example, the Piggy Bank is more of a dark pink colored mascot than the Big Fat Pig. It also has smaller eyes, and noticeably the legs are slightly shorter as well. The Piggy Bank has a line on the back of its body for the coins and bills that it stores. The mouth is open, revealing small teeth, tongue and it has the basic same build that resembles an anatomically incorrect pig.
Characteristics[]
The Piggy Bank is the first character to be unlocked only through purchase. When unlocked, 1000 additional coins will be obtained for the player to use. During runs, special red coins will appear, along with the normal coins. Unlike normal coins, they are red with a yellow "c" (normal coins are yellow with a red "c"). These red coins are worth 5 normal coins. Also, the number of coins received after watching an ad is doubled from 20 to 40.
Upon death, the Piggy Bank will explode in pink particles, coins will fall onto the ground and money (bills) will fly away in the air. Coins and money bills will also fall out of its back when moving in a run.

How To Obtain[]
The Piggy Bank, unlike most mascots, cannot be unlocked through the Prize Machine. It can only be obtained by purchasing it for $2.99, £2.29, or hacking it into the game for free. This is a very expensive character (most characters cost 100 /$0.99 USD).

- It is currently one of two most expensive characters in Crossy Road (tied with Car) at $2.99 (£2.99 in certain other countries).
- The Piggy Bank is one of the four characters that the player can not get for free, the others being Psy, Ad Buster, and Ad Fighter.
- When a player purchases the Piggy Bank, they will get a bonus one thousand coins, and will also have red Coins that give them five coins.
