The Rugby Player is a playable mascot in Crossy Road. He was added in the UK & Ireland Update.
Appearance[]
The Rugby Player looks like a generic rugby player in real life. He wears long red socks, rugby boots, a red shirt and white shorts. He has brown hair and appears to be holding a white rugby ball in his left hand.
Characteristics[]
Like most of the British mascots, the Rugby Player changes the setting into the UK terrain. The Rugby Player traverses, it is occupied by grunts and leaves behind a continuous trail of yellow daffodils.
How to Obtain[]
Spoiler Alert! |
The player cannot obtain this mascot by winning it in the prize machine, due to the fact that it is a Secret Mascot. To unlock the Rugby Player, the player must play as the squirrel and collect 4 nuts then find a white rugby ball (looks like a white nut) on top of a tree. The character must move next to the tree so the ball falls out of the tree. Upon death, the Rugby Player will be unlocked.
Below is a video that demonstrates the way to unlock the Rugby Player:
Trivia[]
- Rugby Player is the fourth secret character to be unlocked by a UK/Ireland Mascot. The other three are Phone Box, Nessie, and Leprechaun.
- He is the sixth mascot to leave something behind them as they progress. The others are Swift Snail, Poopy Pigeon, Unihorse, Andy Sum and BAG-IT!. and The Queen of all cosmos.
- The rugby player is the only mascot to represent Wales in the UK/ Ireland update. The Welsh rugby team traditionally play in red and fans wear daffodils, the national emblem, at international rugby games to show support for the nation.
