The Savanna Update (also known as the Serengeti Update) is a content update in Crossy Road issued on the 6th of April 2017. It added 15 new figurines, 2 of them being secret. There are also now tabs on the character selection screen splitting up all the characters into categories.

Changes[]
- All mascots have now been sorted into appropriate category tabs, with a slider appearing at the top of the character selection menu.
- The red "Random" die no longer appears as a character model, and has been replaced with a button at the bottom left of the character selection screen.
